Hi! I’m Sofia, a sophomore on the Saint Mary’s tennis team and a first-gen American from San Jose. Growing up, I dreamed of playing Division I tennis, and here I am so grateful to be living it! I also earned my black belt in Tae Kwon Do along the way, so sports have always been a huge part of my life. My goal is to go pro in tennis, and after that, I plan to head to law school. Outside of tennis, I love coaching, experimenting in the kitchen (when I actually have time to cook and bake), and diving into lifestyle and beauty products. I’m passionate about social justice and am a big advocate for women’s rights and equality. Volunteering and giving back to my community is something that means a lot to me. Some of my other favorite things: - Playing and talking all things sports - Trying new beauty and skincare products - Traveling - Getting lost in a good book - Spoiling my dog (I actually can’t help myself) - Enjoying a great meal (sushi is my absolute favorite!)
