Hello! My name is Sophia Rubano. I am blessed to be a D1 women’s soccer player at Grand Canyon University. I am a Christian athlete who not only wants to excel on the pitch, but also contribute to those struggling. Community work: -Haitian Sponsor Child (through Compassion International ) -Volunteer to participate in Surgical rounds In (Portland Adventist Hospital Activity as well as Peacehealth Hospital) -Volunteer work at Compassion inc. Clinics (x3) -Volunteer Work In community ( Downtown Camas,Wa) -Cruyff Foundation Volunteer -Clark County Food bank -Volunteer at Harvest Church Soccer accolades: United Soccer Coaches All American ( awarded in 2021) Trained with Professional NWSL team, the Portland Thorns. I lived in Spain training at the prestigious Tovo Academy, under a mentee of Johan Cruyff and experienced La Masía coaches. Attended a US National ID center won state 3 times in Oregon during my club soccer career
