Biography
Steve “Solo” Solorzano is the son of Retired Army Sergeant First Class George and Luisa Solorzano. Steve is the youngest of 5 children. He has two brothers, Joseluis and George Solorzano and two sisters Alicia Solorzano and Audrey Pryor, he is also the proud uncle of Champ and Amelia. Steve wouldn’t be the young man he is today if it wasn’t for the love and support of his grandparents John and Lupe Niemann. Steve was born in El Paso TX. He is an Army brat who was raised in El Paso, Las Cruces, NM and San Pedro, CA. Steve started playing T-Ball when he was 2 1/2 years old, he hit his first over the fence homerun when he was 4, he pitched in his first game at age 7, he threw a perfect game when he was 14 years old, and he started Varsity baseball as a Freshman but only played 4 games because of COVID. In his senior year he broke the 17 year old career strike out record of 235 K’s for Las Cruces High School. He set the new career strike out record for LCHS at 265 K
