Sydney Sutton is a standout American sprinter and hurdler from Potomac, Maryland, who rose to national prominence while competing for Bullis School. Known for her exceptional speed and versatility in the 200 m, 300 m, 400 m, and 400 m hurdles, Sutton earned major honors including the 2024–25 Gatorade Maryland Girls Track & Field Player of the Year and The Washington Post’s All-Met Girls’ Track Athlete of the Year. She claimed national titles and broke records at elite meets like the New Balance Nationals Indoor, where she ran a 400 m in 52.75 seconds and helped her relay team set a U.S. high school indoor record. Her personal bests include 22.70 in the 200 m, 37.00 in the 300 m, and an impressive 51.23 in the 400 m.
