Biography
My name is Tahmar Upshaw in from Murfreesboro TN, i’m currently 19 years old with Brachial Plexus birth injury on my right arm. I run track and field at Cumberland University in Lebanon TN.My Major is BioMed and I am a graduate of Youth Leadership Rutherford a group which promotes high academic learning and helping our community grow.I recently found out about the Paralympics at my Conference meet where i performed well and was recognized by a former coach .My entire life i’ve always ran and competed against able body athletes and I hope to inspire more kids like myself to compete in sports and overcome any adversity in their way.
