I come from a tiny town in Iowa, and decided to venture elsewhere in the country to chase my lifelong dream of becoming a Divison One athlete! I found myself at Youngstown State and have never looked back. Pursuing my dream to one day work in the Sports Broadcasting field, and swimming at the highest level is truly a dream come true. Each day, I work more and more towards whatever the world has in store, as well as doing the best I can to advocate for positivity, mental health, the constant pursuit of happiness, and inclusion on all levels. Looking at each day as an opportunity to build character, learn, and experience something that may have seemed impossible before are just some of the tools I work to implement into my daily life. If I have learned anything on my journey, it's that if you truly work as hard as you can, some of your most outlandish and farfetched dreams may become much more obtainable than previously imagined!
