Purdue wide receiver TJ Sheffield has entered the transfer portal, On3 has learned. He recorded just over 1,200 receiving yards during his career with the Boilermakers. Sheffield appeared in all 11 games for Purdue this season before ultimately deciding to enter the portal. Prior to his decision, Sheffield had 381 receiving yards and two touchdowns on the year, slightly below his career-best numbers of 480 yards in 2022 and five touchdowns scored in 2021. He played high school football at Thompson’s Station (TN) Independence, where he was a three-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. Sheffield was also rated as the No. 589 player overall and the No. 87 wideout in his cycle.
