Biography
Hi! I'm Tyler Laymon, a UCI freshman and member of the Men's Water Polo Team. My freshman year has been exciting, as we are fresh from our Big West Championship win and NCAA-bound. Before college, I played for the USA's U14, U16, and U18 national teams and won the NCS Section in high school during my junior and senior years. As a competitive swimmer, I placed second in the 100 breaststroke and fifth in the 200 IM at NCS, and was one of 40 athletes in the 100 breast to compete at state. Internationally, I've played in Malta, Italy, Croatia, and Hungary. My skills extend to public speaking and the legal system, as I competed in the high school Mock Trial program. I'm deeply involved with the Alzheimer's Association, driven by personal family experiences. I love water-related activities, including skiing and sledding. Additionally, I've coached swimming lessons for three years and absolutely loved it. I am a part of the Mariners Church community. I look forward to working with you!
