Greetings! My name is Uma Corniea and I will be a member of the Princeton Women's Ice Hockey team this fall as an incoming Freshman! Previously, I was the captain and starting goaltender for Edina High School in Minnesota. I played MN Girls' High School Hockey from 7th-12 grade and have enjoyed every minute! I am thrilled to continue my academic and athletic career at the division one level! I love spreading the game of hockey by volunteering with MN Special Hockey for athletes with special needs! I was the MN High School 2023 Senior Goalie of the Year and the YHH Girls' Goalie of the Year. I was honored to be selected to attend the 2023 Team USA National Hockey Goaltending Camp this past May. I also broke both the MN State shutout record and wins record for all Minnesota goaltenders with 45 shutouts and 104 wins. I am a 3x State Champion, a 4 Time-All State Member in Hockey, Academic All-American, All-State and State Runner up in Lacrosse which I joined Sophomore year!
