About

Biography

My name is Valerie Rolph. I am a disabled US Air Force Veteran and female Class 4 (wheelchair) player on the USA Para Table Tennis Team. After becoming disabled in the military, my life had changed drastically, and I needed an outlet. I began playing table tennis in a wheelchair and it gave me a new passion and has increased the quality of my life immensely. One goal is to attract as many people as possible to our sport. I created an adaptive table tennis program locally for disabled veterans and anyone who is disabled with Coach Gary Fraiman ITTF Level 1 USATT Regional & Former International coach. I organized classification events and several military veteran table tennis clinics. I began playing locally, nationally and internationally. I was diagnosed with Breast cancer and had to undergo a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. I never gave up on my goals. I competed in the World Championships Para Table Tennis WPTTC 2022 and the ITTF Parapan American Games in Chile.
