Hey, my name is Vanelda Modé. I’m on the Baylor Acrobatics & Tumbling team, which has won 9 national championships. Some things I like to do outside of sports are crafting like crochet, knitting cross stitch, and many others crafts that involve my hands. I love to thrift and find unique clothing that is either different or hard to find. My style includes very baggy clothes, so I’m always looking for clothes that are comfortable. I’m constantly listening to music, whether that’s by myself studying or with friends. It’s just a part of my life and it’s something that brings me joy. I’m also on a hair growth journey. I’m always wearing a protective style and never shy about my hair. It’s something that I want to embrace and show people that having different hair texture is a joy to have.
