Biography
From San Jose, California, Vicki “La Vix” Chang started breaking at the age of 18 in Berkeley, where she studied Conservation & Resource Studies at the University of California. In 2021, she changed careers from an ecological consultant to a full-time b-girl in order to more fully pursue her passion for dance. She is a member of Team USA and on track to qualify for the 2024 Olympics. She has also recently collaborated with the Golden State Warriors, Nike, Sabra, Red Bull, Lyft, and Jack in the Box. Influenced by the diverse music and dance culture of the Bay Area, Vicki’s dance style has been described as creative and intricate. She enjoys the innovative freedom of breaking and is deeply inspired by the work of her friends and mentors.
