My name is Victor Peterson, and I am a mechanical engineering major at the University of Mount Union. My college experience is focused on academics, athletics, leadership, and preparing for my future career. As a mechanical engineering student, I enjoy problem-solving and learning how things work. I hope to use my degree to build a career where I can apply my skills to real-world challenges and create practical solutions. Outside the classroom, I am a member of the Mount Union Men’s Volleyball team. Being a college athlete has taught me discipline, teamwork, communication, and how to balance academics with other responsibilities. Volleyball has also pushed me to work hard, overcome challenges, and continue improving. I am also an Eagle Scout, an achievement that taught me leadership, responsibility, service, and commitment. I am proud to carry those values into college. Another accomplishment I am proud of is being named Athlete of the Week by the Dayton Daily News.
