Walker Spalding – 6'7" F – Lexington, Ky. – Henry Clay High School Making his way to Wheeling from the Bluegrass State, Spalding will bolster the Cardinals' frontcourt with his size and strength. Spalding helped Henry Clay with a winning record as a senior, playing in 28 games and shooting an impressive 66 percent from the field to lead the team in that category. While did most of his damage in the paint during his high school career, Spalding does have the ability to step outside and make shots. Coach Rich on Walker Spalding: "Walker has good size and a willingness to get better. I have no doubt that his best basketball is ahead of him, and we look forward to helping him improve. He's a big, strong forward who does a good job of getting position in the paint, and finishing around the basket through contact. He's got good hands and should impact that game on the glass at the college level."
