Hello, my name is Wayne Simien! I am a former Big 12 Player of the Year and Consensus First Team All-American for the Winningest D1 Men's Basketball Program, the Kansas Jayhawks. During my time at Kansas I played for two Hall of Fame Coaches, Bill Self and Roy Williams. While on those teams we won 3 Big 12 Championships and competed in 2 Final Fours. After graduating I was a First Round Draft Pick and NBA World Champion of the Miami Heat. Soon after I helped direct a campus ministry and mentoring non-profit for over 10 years. Currently, I am the Associate Athletics Director of Engagement and Outreach at the University of Kansas. I also occasionally present at conferences , host podcasts and provide color commentary for college basketball games. I have been happily married for 17 years and my wife and I have five children.
