I am a Senior at San Diego State University and a student athlete. A native of San Diego, my upbringing as a baseball player from the South Bay instilled in me the values of dedication and sacrifice, largely supported and sacrifices made by my parents. My desire to express gratitude involves empowering individuals from lower neighborhoods and showcasing the potential of hard work and dedication in gaining admission to reputable institutions. My baseball journey began at Hilltop, a modest high school, where I honed my skills. Subsequently, I secured a spot at a D2 school in Irvine and became a starter my freshman year However, an issue arose concerning the transfer of my summer school transcript, requiring a departure from Concordia. This led me to Southwestern CC in Chula Vista, where I diligently completed 59 units within a year. This extensive effort facilitated my transfer to a D1 program, opening doors to a more prominent athletic stage. I’m currently the Starting Shortstop at SDSU
