About

Biography

My name is Yonca Kutluk, a 25-year-old graduate student currently pursuing a master's degree in Kinesiology at the University of North Dakota (UND). I joined UND last year, and in my first year as an athlete, I set multiple records in various events, including the 1 mile, 3K indoor, 5K indoor, 5K outdoor, DMR relay, and 10K outdoor. In addition to breaking records, I have received several prestigious awards, such as the Cross Country and Indoor Athlete of the Year honors. I made history by becoming the first woman from UND to qualify for the NCAA Cross Country National Championships. I also qualified for Regionals in the outdoor 10K event. I am proud to represent my home country at international competitions. In June, I competed in the European Senior Championships in Italy, representing my country in the 10K event. Currently, I continue to compete as a UND alumni and my next goal is to qualify for the 2028 Olympics. I have confidence in my abilities and truly believe I can achieve
