Hi My name is Zahir Mathis. Aka(Zahhmathis the mantis) I’m a nineteen year old from North Philadelphia of Hunting Park. I found my love for sports at six years of age and constantly chased my dreams to greatness. Growing up I played on multiple youth teams such as (north Philly Aztecs, north Philly Blackhawks) during my eighth grade years (reclassified) i played two years on the (Maryland Heat). After I attended (Imhotep charter Institute) high school to go on an become a better student athlete, in my time I learned ways of STEM and maturity of leadership. Four years up and now I’m here in (college park at University of Maryland) as a student athlete to major in entrepreneurship and bring home blessings and championships to this great nation.
