ALLO: Telecom Leader Leverages NIL Partnerships

ALLO, a telecommunications company, connected with Nebraska student-athletes to expand their reach. 

The Deal

+ ALLO Communications used Opendorse to connect with 10+ University of Nebraska athletes. They used a mix of Opendorse products: Opportunities to consider athletes that apply and the Direct Deal function to connect with select athletes.

+ They focused on athletes that are current ALLO customers. Athlete partners were directed to post about the company on their social media channels tagging ALLO. ALLO’s main goal was to leverage athlete audiences to gain more customers. 

The Results

+ Student-athletes generated 99K+ engagements after the first couple weeks for the campaign. 

+ Husker Football player Garrett Nelson had a larger partnership with ALLO, delivering four Twitter posts and four Instagram posts. He reached an audience of 32K+ Instagram users and gained 100k+ impressions on Twitter.
