I am a graduate of Lufkin High School. While in high school I was a member of the Varsity softball team, Cheerleding team, basketball, volleyball, track. I received several awards including 2nd team all district, 1st team all district, Offensive district MVP, and All State catcher. I also made NCA All American cheerleader and was a member of the All Academic district team. I also participated in FFA and FCA. I also volunteered as a softball coach for several years. One of my favorites events I participated in softball was The Turkey Trot. LISD athletes had the opportunity to buddy up with special needs students. This meant a lot to me because I have an older sister who has Down Syndrome and Autism. I have always felt the need for awareness for people with special needs to have the same opportunities as other people. After high school I attended and played softball at Navarro College I graduated magna cum laude. I will be transferring to UMHB to get a degree in Physical Therapy.
